Privacy Policy: the Lynceus3D app
Effective October 5, 2026. This policy covers the Lynceus3D app for iPhone, made by Lynceus Vision LLC.
The short version
The app does not collect, store or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
What the app keeps on your iPhone
Only its own settings, such as what happens at the end of a video. They stay on your iPhone, and deleting the app removes them.
What the app connects to
To show the list of videos and play them, the app connects to two places:
- lynceus3d.com, our website, for the list of videos and their pictures.
- Bunny.net, our video host, for the video stream.
Like any website you visit, these servers receive your device's IP address and basic request details, and they may keep standard server logs. We don't use them to identify you. Our hosting providers may show us totals, such as how many times a video was played. Totals like these don't identify anyone.
Videos: nothing is saved
The app has no way to save a video. Our videos play as a stream over the internet. If you open your own video from Files, the app plays it where it is; it copies, uploads and keeps nothing.
The diagnostic log
The app's Diagnostics screen shows a short technical log, such as the connection speed, the glasses' display mode and the name of a video you open from Files. It is not saved: it disappears when the app is closed. It leaves your iPhone only if you tap Copy log and paste it somewhere yourself.
Apple
If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may share crash reports and usage totals for the app with us. These don't identify you.
Children
The app is not directed to children, and it collects no information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
